PBS Teachers, sponsored by the Public Broadcasting Service, is an excellent teacher resource. This site covers a wide range of topics and includes materials for pre-K through grade 12. The 9-12 link provides a portal to current events lesson plans on topics like "the state budget crisis" and "cyberbullying." Many of these lessons include images and primary document references.
